Jim Adams, retired educator, and Community Educator for the Alzheimer’s Association. He is author of Other Me’s: My caregiver experience with Lewy Body Dementia. Jim Adams describes how he and his family dealt with the effects of Lewy Body Dementia with Parkinson’s Disease during the last two years of his wife Diane’s life. He discusses the differences between Alzheimer’s Disease and Lewy Body Dementia. Jim worked as an aerospace engineer for NASA doing mission planning and analysis for the Gemini and Apollo space programs. He also worked for the Department of Defense in software development and ground station operations for aerospace data systems. For 24 years he taught Math, Physics, Computer Science, Aeronautics, Astronomy, and other courses at Chetek High School in Chetek.
