B-Home Services and Supplies Hosts Grief Support Group
A Grief Support Group for people who are grieving the loss of a loved one will be meeting for six weeks beginning February 25, 2021. The in-person meetings will run Thursdays from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at B-Home Services and Supplies, 311 County Highway A, Black River Falls. There will also be an option to attend the meetings virtually. There is no cost to attend the sessions.
Material and information on the grieving process will be shared with the participants. These sessions will provide those who have lost a loved one the chance to meet with others who are feeling the same sense of loss. Kevin Newell, BRMH Hospice Chaplain stated, “Grief can be very powerful and overwhelming. We encourage anyone who has lost a loved one to attend. These sessions can help sort out all the feelings one experiences during the grieving process.” Participants will come away with tools to help them to move forward. Attendees are encouraged to bring a photo of their loved one to display throughout the sessions.
Due to COVID-19, wearing of face masks is required. Other measures will include social distancing and extra sanitizing procedures.
